Steve grew up in Topsfield, MA and attended Masconomet Regional HS where he ran Track and Cross Country. Steve attended Georgetown University where he was a scholarship athlete for the Hoya’s Cross Country and Track and Field teams, focusing on the longer distance races. Upon graduation, Steve ran professionally for Reebok and completed his first marathon, the Chevron Houston Marathon in January, 2007. Finishing 9th overall and as the 2nd American, Steve successfully qualified for the 2008 Olympic Marathon Trials by virtue of his 2:18:15 finishing time. He ran in the Olympic Trials in November, 2007 in New York City’s Central Park and finished in a very respectable 2:22:40. Steve is still training and is very active in the local running community. Chris is a born and raised South Shore resident who joined GBRC in 2010. Chris comes from a background in specialty running retail and brings a wealth of knowledge with him about the products in which we sell. Chris is an avid triathlete and has been tearing up the local tri scene. Known for his domination on the bike, look for Chris at your next Tri to be making waves in the front pack.

Jessica joined GBRC in 2011 coming from our store in Washington DC, The Georgetown Running Co. Jessica was the manager in DC before deciding to head north for a change of pace. Jessica has worked in specialty running for quite some time and has a wealth of knowledge and has a great passion for running and our sport.

Pat joined GBRC in the Spring of 2010 to help us spread the word about all that GBRC has to offer. Pat comes from a long background of running, coaching ,and specialty running retail experience. Pat, still an avid runner himself, can be seen out pounding the pavement frequently. Pat’s duties consist of all marketing and promotions for all three GBRC stores. Colleen is our source of creativity. Not only is she a runner, triathlete, and therapist, but she is also our master pumpkin carver (see right). Colleen is a great runner and just finished her most recent marathon- the 2010 Chicago Marathon- in an impressive 3:27. Colleen has a strong retail background as well as a therapy background, so bring lots of questions for Colleen.

Tyler came to us from corporate America in 2010. Searching for a new career in which he could share his passion for running with others, Tyler has nestled into serving the running community of the North Shore. Tyler is a long time Dana Farber Marathon Challenge team member and is planning another assault on Hopkinton in 2011. If anyone has any questions about the Boston Marathon or running for a charity, Tyler is a great resource.
